The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 1970 was the 84th series of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, Ireland's premier hurling knock-out competition. Cork won the championship, beating Wexford 6-21 to 5-10 in the final at Croke Park, Dublin. ==Rule change==
As a result of a decision taken at the Gaelic Athletic Association's (GAA) annual congress the previous year, as of 1970 all provincial finals, All-Ireland semi-finals and the All-Ireland final itself were exteneded to 80 minutes playing time. Prior to this all championship matches were sixty minutes in duration.
